wir freuen uns im Dezember 2007 zu drei neuen Produktionen in Berlin einladen zu können:
In der ersten Dezemberwoche lässt Sunday Project Berlin ein privates Wohnzimmer zum Schauplatz von ANBBANG werden, einer koreanischen Installation und Tanzperformance. NAHDRANextended im ada - studio zeigt am 8. und 9. Dezember das Solo von Ami Garmon ALL THERE IS (INSTRUMENTAL) verbunden mit YI YA GI, einem koreanischen Großstadtmärchen von Triple Project. Und ab dem 15. Dezember lädt die Oper Dynamo West zu ihrer ganz eigenen Weihnachtsproduktion - DER TEUFEL IN FRAU JONES - ein Broadway-Porno in Westberlin.

ANBBANG ist der Raum der Hausherrin im traditionellen koreanischen Haus und steht in Südkorea für Gemütlichkeit, Wärme, Gastlichkeit, Geborgenheit und Nähe. In der Wohnzimmer-Installation treffen die Improvisationen der Tänzerinnen auf den Gesang einer traditionellen koreanischen Sängerin. In der Intimität des privaten Raums wird bei ANBBANG das Publikum zu Gästen.

In YI YA GI ( Triple Project - Janina Janke / Kim Jung-sun / Lee Soo-eun) wird eine alte koreanische Erzählung dem urbanen Alltag von heute ausgesetzt. Traditioneller koreanischer Tanz und asiatische Klänge stoßen auf Verkehrslärm und Popkultur und gehen dabei eine unerwartet stimmige Symbiose ein.

ALL THERE IS (Instrumental) von Ami Garmon erzählt davon wie desillusionierend klein selbst die großen, bedeutenden Ereignisse des Lebens wie etwa die erste Liebe sind. Und so muss ein jeder von uns seine eigenen Tänze tanzen und traurige Lieder singen – denn das ist alles, was es gibt...

Der Drehort des Pornoklassikers „The Devil in Miss Jones“, in dem eine sexuell frustrierte Frau nach ihrem Selbstmord zum Nachholen verpasster Sünden ins Leben zurückkehrt, ist der Arbeitsplatz von vier Sexworkern. ANBBANG is the housewife's sphere in a traditional Korean house and in Southern Korea it is associated with coziness, warmth, hospitality, comfort and company.  In this living room installation,  improvisations of dancers meet the voice of a traditional Korean singer. The intimacy and atmosphere of a private living room turn the audience into guests.

Those still looking for money in the Western part of Berlin are best advised to open a porn cinema or a musicalhouse. Inspired by these secure sources of income Oper Dynamo West presents their fifth and last production in 2007: DER TEUFEL IN FRAU JONES.
The set of the porn classic "The Devil in Miss Jones" - a sexually frustrated woman returning to life after killing herself to make up for sinful deeds not done - becomes the workplace of four sex workers. In the red light district of the Potsdamer Strasse they talk about their careers, sing about their jobs, struggle through sweaty Broadway quotes and replace sex by dance - always on the quest for true expression of the body, the next big thing and fast success. Every action drives towards its conflict, towards a quick solution and towards the body: song and dance - or sex.
DER TEUFEL IN FRAU JONES merges two genres and business models into a depressing-glittering show act about the labor of success, the exhaustion of a pose and the grace of the gifted body.
